THERMOPAL SR24

THERMOPAL SR24 is a mineral, WTA-certified renovation mortar from Schomburg, developed for restoring and protecting masonry exposed to moisture and salt—suitable for both interior and exterior use.

Applications

• Renovation of basements and salt-contaminated, damp masonry—compliant with DIN EN 998-1 and WTA guidelines

• For residential and industrial premises, as well as outdoor walls

Key features

• Composition: ready-mixed mineral mortar with cement and air-entrained pores—high vapour permeability and excellent salt-retention capacity

• Efficiency: low material consumption (~ 9.5 kg/m² per 1 cm layer) for economical use

• Properties: vapour-diffusive (μ < 15), resistant to sulphates, calcium and radon; quickly ready for sanding

• Strength class: CS II (DIN EN 998-1); adhesion ≥ 0.08 N/mm²

• Water tightness: water penetration ≤ 5 mm; thermal conductivity λ ≈ 0.47 W/m·K

• Application temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C; consumption: ~ 9.5 kg/m² per cm

Application

• Apply manually or mechanically (e.g. spray application)

• Maximum layer thickness per pass: 30 mm; surface can be sanded after a short curing time
