OPTOLITH Optostop HydroGum Easy is a ready-to-use, flexible, single-component sealing compound based on polymer dispersions, designed for creating moisture- and waterproof layers under ceramic tile coverings. The product forms a seamless, elastic membrane that effectively protects mineral substrates against water and moisture penetration. It is ideal for use in bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, balconies, and terraces—anywhere durable waterproofing under tiles is required.

Applications:

• Waterproofing under ceramic tiles in wet and damp areas (bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms)

• Moisture protection on balconies and terraces (with appropriate protection layers)

• Suitable for mineral substrates: concrete, cement and cement-lime plasters, cement screeds

Application Guidelines:

The substrate must be clean, dry, stable, and free from dust, oils, and loose particles. Before application, it is recommended to use a suitable primer. HydroGum Easy should be applied in two layers using a trowel, brush, or roller. The second layer should be applied only after the first has completely dried. In corners and construction joints, sealing tapes should be embedded into the compound.
