Optosan TrassPutz is a lightweight lime-trass plaster designed specifically for restoring historic facades and interiors. Composed of hydraulic lime, Rhine trass, a small amount of white cement, fractionated quartz sands (0-1 mm), and lightweight aggregates like perlite, this product ensures excellent adhesion and low compressive strength, perfectly suited for delicate, aged structures.

Storage

• Conditions: Store in a dry place, protected from moisture, on pallets in original packaging. Reseal opened bags tightly.
• Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months from production date when stored appropriately.
• Temperature: If stored below 5°C, place in a warm, dry area 12 hours before use.

Surface Preparation
The substrate must be firm, stable, clean, dry, and frost-free. Clean and prime thoroughly, especially on weaker substrates, before application.

Application
Mix the contents of a 25 kg bag of Optosan TrassPutz with water until a plastic consistency is achieved. Apply manually or with a machine in a thickness of 10-50 mm per cycle. Once initially set, finish the surface by troweling or floating, depending on the desired texture.

Tips

• Optimal Conditions: Ambient, substrate, and product temperatures should be between +5°C and +25°C. Extremes may affect performance.
• Protection During Setting: Protect freshly applied plaster from rapid drying, frost, and excessive moisture.
• Tool Cleaning: Clean tools with water immediately after use.
