KÖSTER KSK Voranstrich BL is a specialized primer designed to prepare the substrate for the application of KÖSTER KSK self-adhesive membranes. It is a solvent-free product that offers excellent adhesion to dry and slightly damp mineral substrates. This primer is an essential component in basement, foundation, and other underground waterproofing systems.

• Minimum application temperature: +5°C
• Drying time (20°C): 24 hours
• Membrane application time (20°C): Approx. 3-4 hours
• Membrane application time (10°C): Approx. 5-7 hours

 

Instructions for Use:

• Substrate preparation: The mineral substrate must be clean, dry, load-bearing, and free from grease, oils, and loose particles. Do not apply on gypsum substrates.
• Application: Apply by spraying, brushing, or rolling in a single step without dilution.
• Tool cleaning: Clean tools immediately after use with clean water.

 

 

Consumption:

• Approx. 0.15 - 0.30 kg/m² (for highly absorbent substrates, two coats may be necessary).

 

Packaging and Storage:

  • Storage: Store in sealed containers in a cool area. Shelf life: at least 12 months.
