Katja Sprint is a self-adhesive, thin-layer bituminous membrane for internal damp-proofing and vapour-barrier applications. Katja Sprint - self-adhesive bituminous membrane
Katja Sprint is a cold-applied, self-adhesive, fibre-reinforced aluminium bituminous membrane with a PE coating. Its purpose is to protect against rising damp and to serve as an interior vapour barrier (e.g. ground-bearing floors, trafficable floor slabs).

Intended for floor constructions in contact with the ground – in accordance with DIN 18533-1, classes W 1.1-E and W 1.2-E

Functions as a vapour and moisture barrier on intermediate floors and as protection against moisture from concrete slabs

Installation & Instructions

The substrate must be clean, level and dry. A separation layer (e.g. PE film) can be laid first.

Lay the rolls with a 10 cm overlap; remove the release films and press firmly to seal. The overlaps bond and seal automatically.

In cold weather, gently warming the tape with a hot-air gun can help.

Form head laps and wall junctions with Katja Sprint strips (e.g. Anschlussstreifen or Anschlussfix).
