HERTALAN KS 205 – Spray Adhesive for EPDM Membranes

HERTALAN KS 205 is a contact adhesive based on synthetic rubber and artificial resins, containing solvent. It is designed for spray application and can be used on horizontal and vertical surfaces, ensuring strong and durable bonding.

Key Features:

• Spray Application – Applied using a closed Airless spray system, ensuring even coverage.
• Fast Bonding – Open time of 5-15 minutes, depending on temperature and weather conditions.
• Versatile Use – Suitable for concrete, bituminous materials, wood, and other substrates.
• Weather Resistance – Achieves full adhesive strength after approximately 48 hours.

Application Instructions:

1. Surface Preparation – The substrate must be even, clean, dry, and free from oils, grease, and sharp objects.
2. Adhesive Application – Apply to both surfaces using the Airless spray system.
3. Evaporation Time – Wait 5-15 minutes before bonding, depending on temperature.
4. Membrane Fixing – Lay down without wrinkles or air bubbles, then press firmly with a roller.
5. Bonding Time – Maximum adhesive strength is achieved after approximately 48 hours.

Consumption:

Approx. 300 g/m² (0.35 l/m²) with double-sided application.

Note: Do not apply directly to polystyrene foam or soft PVC. Perform adhesion tests if necessary.
