AQUAFIN RB400 – fast-setting, hybrid cement-based waterproofing mortar developed by Schomburg and AQUAFIN, bitumen-free

Applications

• Waterproofing against ground moisture and non-pressurised water in new builds and renovations (DIN 18533-3 and WTA 4-6): foundation walls, plinths, slabs and tanks.

• Sealing floors, wall–floor junctions, and details around windows and doors.

Key features

• Reactive curing in a wide range of weather conditions (can be applied from +5 °C).

• Rain-proof and ready for the next coat after 3 h.

• Bridges cracks > 2 mm, elongation ~ 220 %; resistant to frost, de-icing salts, UV, sulphates and radon.

• Low-emission, bitumen-free formulation.

Technical data

• Consumption: ~ 1.2 kg/m² per mm dry-film thickness.

• Two-component system (cement + dispersion); standard packs: 24 kg (single) or 32.5 kg (two-part).

• Application temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C; pot life ≈ 45 min; rapid reactive set.

Practical advantages
