Knauf Katja Sprint Tape is a self-adhesive bituminous tape, 200 mm wide and 15 m long, intended for sealing Katja Sprint membrane joints and for connecting the membrane to vertical elements such as walls. Made from the same material as the membrane, it forms a durable, vapour-tight and waterproof barrier. Installation is quick and safe, with no open flame or solvents required. Ideal for interior applications.
Katja Sprint Anschlussstreifen
Katja Sprint Anschlussstreifen is a self-adhesive, fully polymer bituminous tape measuring 200 mm × 15 m, made of polymer-modified bitumen—the same material as the Katja Sprint membrane.
Application

Seals longitudinal joints of the Knauf Katja Sprint membrane and connects the membrane to vertical building elements (e.g. walls).

Installation of Knauf Katja Sprint

Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and smooth.

Remove the release film and press the tape firmly onto the membrane or wall.

In cold conditions, a hot-air gun may be used to improve initial tack.
Storage & Shelf Life Knauf Katja Sprint

Store rolls upright, protected from direct sunlight and high temperatures.

Shelf life: 9 months from the date of manufacture.
