Universal Primer for Plasters and Smoothing Compounds

OPTOLITH Optogrunt UniPlast is a high-quality primer designed to prepare substrates before the application of thin-layer plasters, smoothing compounds, and adhesives. Enriched with selected quartz aggregates and synthetic resins, it creates a rough, adhesive surface layer that significantly improves the bonding of subsequent finishing materials. It is an ideal solution for both thermal insulation systems and renovation works on new and old mineral substrates.

Applications of OPTOLITH Optogrunt UniPlast:

• Priming substrates for mineral, acrylic, silicate, silicone, and silicate-silicone plasters

• Used before applying adhesive-compound mixes and thin-layer renders in ETICS systems

• Suitable for interior and exterior use – on concrete, cement and cement-lime plasters, finishing coats, and stable old coatings

• Drying time: approx. 6–12 hours (depending on conditions)

• Application temperature: from +5°C to +25°C

• Packaging: 7 kg, 15 kg, and 25 kg buckets

Application Guidelines:

Stir the product thoroughly before use. Apply evenly to a clean, dry, and sound substrate using a roller, brush, or spray. Once the primer has completely dried (usually after about 12 hours), further layers such as plasters, adhesives, or smoothing compounds can be applied. Do not apply to frozen, wet, or heavily dust-covered surfaces.
