This means that <strong data-start=\"226\" data-end=\"295\">waterproofing must also be applied underneath the foundation slab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"300\" data-end=\"348\"><strong data-start=\"305\" data-end=\"346\">How to Properly Waterproof This Area?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"350\" data-end=\"502\">One possible approach is using <strong data-start=\"381\" data-end=\"408\">coating-based materials<\/strong>, but <strong data-start=\"414\" data-end=\"499\">the chances of successfully sealing the crown with coatings alone are nearly zero<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"603\">This issue was once highlighted by <strong data-start=\"539\" data-end=\"564\">Professor Starosolski<\/strong>, who pointed out a critical problem:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"1062\">\n<li data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"795\">If <strong data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"643\">two layers of bituminous felt<\/strong> are placed on top of the pile (using bitumen adhesive) and then covered with another concrete layer, a <strong data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"768\">hinge-like effect<\/strong> is created at the joint.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"921\">This means that instead of a <strong data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"857\">continuous concrete column<\/strong>, we end up with a <strong data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"918\">pile interrupted by a bituminous hinge<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"1062\">Even if the structure compresses the bitumen, a <strong data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1014\">thin residual layer will always remain<\/strong>, preventing full load transfer into the pile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1100\"><strong data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1098\">How to Solve This Problem?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=\"259713\" img_size=\"large\" alignment=\"center\"][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"49\"
