The term is not widely known but refers to <strong data-start=\"127\" data-end=\"149\">floor underlayment<\/strong>. Screed is nothing more than a <strong data-start=\"181\" data-end=\"200\">substrate layer<\/strong> applied on <strong data-start=\"212\" data-end=\"242\">ceilings or concrete slabs<\/strong>. It is <strong data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1713\">suitable for underfloor heating<\/strong>, ensuring <strong data-start=\"1724\" data-end=\"1753\">optimal heat distribution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1758\" data-end=\"1970\" data-is-last-node=\"\">However, <strong data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1815\">it should not be used in high-moisture areas<\/strong> or outdoors, as it <strong data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"1884\">does not tolerate prolonged exposure to water<\/strong>.
